Sidney S. Combs, Sr., 82, of Salem passed away on December 15, 2024.
A native of Virginia he was the son of the late D. Sterling Combs and Lela J. Combs. Sidney served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 28 years from the Virginia State Police.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Roseland “Rose” Combs; son, Buck Combs; sister, Donna Faye Sloan and husband Mike; brother, Taylor Combs; brothers in law, Roy Barrett and wife Cindy and James Barrett and wife Patti; and sister in law, Gail Spillman and husband Donald.
A graveside service will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
