Cecil "Fuzzy" Virgil Jones

Cecil Virgil "Fuzzy" Jones, age 84 of Union Hall, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024. Mr. Jones was born  March 14 1940 to the late Cecil and Elzie Holland Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father in-law and mother-in-law Harry and Alma Smith Johnson; and sister Deane Jones Hughes. Surviving is his loving wife of over 65 years Joyce Johnson Jones; daughter Kathy Jones Pagans ( Jimmy); son Barry Jones (Dana); five grandchildren Christy and Keith Brudin, Jason Pagans, Jessica Jones Rutrough, Danielle Jones and Megan Jones; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; niece Karen Dyer; nephew Adron Willis; many cousins Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. His family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount.
