Lesley Amrhein Cox

Lesley Amrhein Cox, 68, of Buchanan, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, Oliver and Betty Amrhein; and sister, Pam McCulloch.

Lesley is survived by her loving husband, Craig B. Cox; brother, Stephen Amrhein and wife Kathy; brother-in-law, Steve McCulloch; nieces, Ivy Mays and husband Eddie, Megan Brauch and husband Tim, and Casey Bolling and husband John; nephew, Cory Amrhein and wife Melinda; great nieces and nephews, Patrick Speller and wife Jocelyn, Bryce Speller, Keelan Mays, Grace Ferris, Chase Ferris, Liliana Bolling, and Landon Bolling; and many other family members.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, serving as a pioneer in the Troutville congregation.

Lesley was a long time equine advocate of showing, riding horses, teaching riding lessons and in continuing these adventures when all things are made new.

The family will have a Visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12:30pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 70 Greenfield St. Daleville, VA 24083, officiated by Paul J. Houston, Jr.
