Sharon Moye Miller

Sharon Miller, 77, of Troutville passed away on May 9, 2025.

Sharon Miller was born June the 18th in 1947. She always had a passion for helping others and graduated from The Petersburg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. Her career spanned many decades helping others. She met the love of her life, Joe Miller (Sr), and married him on March the 9th in 1974. Sharon shared her home with many cats and dogs, most notably her dog Archie who was her constant companion for 16 years. Archie's ashes will be buried with Sharon when she is laid to rest next to Joe, who proceeded her in death in 2002.

Sharon is survived by her stepchildren Joe Miller (Jr) and Carol Luukkonen, as well as her step-grandchildren, Ben, Emma, and Hannah Luukkonen.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9:00 until 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, West Virginia.
