Preston Knox Hundley

Preston Knox Hundley, 78 of Salem, VA, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Born Friday, April 11, 1947, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Marvin Preston Hundley and Gladys Opal Pinkard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Thomas Edward Hundley; father-in-law, George E. Munsey. Jr.; brother-in-law, Sammy W. Munsey “Brother”.

Preston, affectionately known as P.K., retired from the Roanoke City Fire Department after 30 years of service. After retirement, he spent his time delivering flowers for Fallon Florist.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Sue Munsey Hundley; daughter, Terra Chambers; Roy E. Chambers Jr., whom he treated as a son; mother-in-law, Freedia B. Munsey, who was Mom to him; and his sister-in-law, Linda M. Seneker, and her husband, Vince.

The family will welcome friends at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at College Lutheran, located at 210 South College Avenue, Salem, VA.
