Geneva H. Basja

Geneva H. Basha, 77, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born September 18,1947, in McComas, West Virginia, to the late Edgar Ralph Carr and Nannie Louise Thompson Carr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Davis, Connie Boardwine, and Lindy Handy.

Geneva worked for over twenty years as a manger in food services. She enjoyed working up until the day she retired. She loved being a part of the Kingdom Hall ministry in Martinsville and loved her family dearly. Geneva will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Huffman; sister, Phyllis Carr; brothers, Don Carr and Steven Carr; grandson, Chris Huffman; and great-grandson, Gage Huffman; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
