William Richard Kronkowski

William Richard Kronkowski, Sr. age 87 of Chatham, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Kronkowski was born July 1, 1937 in Pennsylvania to the late Mary Hudock Kronkowski and the late Michael Frank Kronkowski. He was married to the late Christine Meadows Kronkowski, whom passed away in 2003.

He proudly served our country in the US Navy, and worked for Haymes Brothers Construction in Chatham until his retirement. He will always be remembered as a kindhearted and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherrie K. English (Lee Doyle) and Connie K. Crews (Jeff); two sons, Billy Kronkowski (Renita), and Michael John Kronkowski (Cheryl); four grandchildren, Shane Kronkowski (Zoe), Jeffrey Crews (Allison), Hunter Crews, and Casey Soto (Antonio); two great-grandchildren, William and Charlotte; two sisters, Mary Ann Aggon and Christina Kalinowsky.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was also predeceased by his sisters, Rosemary Dower, Antionette Grutza, Alberta Budwash, and Regina Kronkowsky; and his brother, Charles Kronkowski.

No formal service is planned at this time.
