Linda Barton

Linda “Granny” Arthur Barton, born August 4, 1947, went to be with our Lord on July 16, 2025. She will be joining her husband, Charlie Ezell Barton, in a heavenly reunion. Those left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Robin Moran (Jeff), and Julie Cruise (Bobby). Her six grandchildren are Brandon Kincer (Kelly), Brittany Wise (Matt), Brent Kincer (Tori), Lindsey Hodges (Tim), Madison Cruise (Emmy), and Tracey Moran. She also enjoyed the love that she received from her nine great-grandchildren: Aaden, Kyleigh, Kaelynn, Kadence, Sarah, Scarlett, Kambria, Abigail, and Camden. She is also survived by her 3 brothers: Kenny Arthur (Becky), Timmy Arthur (Cindy), and Leon Arthur (Teresa), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Linda was employed by Eli Lilly/Elizabeth Arden for many years and had many friends.

Linda loved animals of any kind, playing bingo, and went “along for the ride” with her family on numerous vacations, whether it be to Tennessee, to the beach, or on a cruise ship. She loved her family dearly and lived her life full of fun, laughter, and never missed a good joke. We will forever miss her “spiciness and sass,” and she will be in our hearts forever.

A graveside service for Linda will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Airport Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
