Jeffrey Scott Sutphin

Jeffery Scott Sutphin, 61, husband of Lisa Conner Sutphin, passed away on July 30, 2025. He was the son of the late Troy E. and Melva Sowers Sutphin.

Jeffery was a graduate of William Fleming High School and worked as an HVAC Technician with Yeatts Heating & Air. He attended Lakeside Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR Racing. He always saw the good in everyone.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his children, Peggy Lancaster, Kelly Sutphin, and Brian Sutphin; grandchildren, Lynia Braley, Ceairra Braley, and Kayla Braley; a great-grandson, Ryder Braley; sisters, Brenda White, Barbara Light, and Tammy Wade (Darryl); as well as numerous cousins and close friends.

Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. (540)366-0707.
