Bobby Clyde Lane

Mr. Robert “Bobby “ Clyde Lane, age 68, of Edenton, North Carolina passed away on July 31, 2025 at ECU Health Care in Greenville while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Lane was born on August 23, 1956 in Surry County to the late Rev. Clyde Wesley Lane and Foy Nell Semones Lane White. Mr. Lane was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Jennifer Chandler Lane, daughters, Dana Hubbard (Shawn), Hayley Bowman (Matthew Martin), Cody Bowman (Ashley), Grayson Rierson of the home, grandchildren, Bryce and Brady Hubbard, Caleb Rierson, Jaxon Kendrick, Zane Tarkington and Eason Bowman; sisters and brother-in-law, Martie Lane Stevens, Sandra Lane Kimrey and Randy; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Joey Lane and Debbie as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lane was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Teddy Stevens. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Koby Strawser officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
