Ruby Biggs

Ruby Louise McCoy Biggs, age 84, of Covington, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem.

She was born January 3, 1941 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late William Russell McCoy and Clara Rae Craft McCoy. She was a wife and homemaker for most of her adult life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eugene Biggs; a daughter, Christy Johnson; two sisters, Nancy DeVenny and Patsy Kearney; and a brother, Bobby McCoy.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Bennett (Ritchie) of Covington; and a brother, Danny McCoy of Clifton Forge.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Brandon Nicely officiating.
