Crystal Galloway Jordan

Crystal Michelle Jordan, 39, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Sovah Hospital.

Crystal was loved by many and known for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering kindness toward everyone she met. She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, heard, and valued. Whether through her laughter, her generosity, or her ability to listen without judgment, Crystal touched the lives of many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Pinkard“Cindy”, and her nephew, Deshawn Ross.

Crystal is survived by her father Sandy K. Galloway, her wife, Deja Jordan, her daughters, Destiny Harris, Carmela Casey (Quanadra Tunstall), Sariyah Woods, and Roxi Woods; her son, Ky’Mieron Copening, her sisters, DeeAnna Galloway and Starla Ross, her brother, Robert Galloway, her nieces, Kayla Tinsley, Aniyah Ross, and Tierra Jones, her nephew, De’Vonte Tinsley and “TT Babies”—Honesty, Hazel, DJ, and Kehlani. Her “Bestfriend” Keyaria Waller.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon) at The Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Inc. – “The Assembly Building,” with Pastor Lewis Waller officiating. The family will receive friends beginning one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.
