Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Ramsey Hall

Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Ramsey Hall, 62, of Bassett, Virginia, entered her heavenly rest Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born February 5, 1963, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Sharon Madeline Hodges Ramsey and the late Jerry Robert Ramsey.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Hall Royal; and brother-in-law, Roger Rakes.

Sandra was of the Christian faith and a woman who deeply loved her family and grandbabies. After attending Bassett High School, she entered the workforce and was employed in the sewing department of Bassett Walker Furniture Company. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time she enjoyed good music and motorcycles.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Liz Purcell (Cory), Rhonda Rakes; grandchildren, Jasmine Fain (Austin), Brooke Penn; and great-grandchild, Austin “A.J.” Fain, Jr., and Ben Fain.

A Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service, Bassett Chapel, 1230 Oak Level Road, Bassett, Virginia 24055.
