Dan Sexton

Dan Sexton, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on August 25, 2025 at the age of 79 years old. Born on July 25, 1946, to Marvin Sexton and Dorothy Sexton, Dan lived a life filled with love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Dan was married to his devoted late wife, Laura Sexton, with whom he shared countless moments of joy and companionship. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, touching the lives of all who knew him.

Dan is survived by his dear brothers, Steve, Toby, and Jeff; his children Craig and Michael, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Dan had a thirst for living the good life and had numerous loves including collecting and selling vintage cars, buying and selling sailboats, and collecting vintage watches. Dan loved Southern California and could frequently be found enjoying his love of a good day on the water of the Pacific Coast Highway. Dan was never a stranger at any of the local bars he frequented and had a passion for a good bottle of merlot. If you chose to challenge Dan to a game of pool, good luck to you. Dan's genuine kindness and welcoming nature meant he never knew a stranger, touching the lives of many with his warmth and compassion.

The family will hold a private celebration of Dan's life at a later time, honoring his memory in a way befitting his loving spirit. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is assisting the family during this difficult time.
