Rose Ann Boles Adkins

Rose Ann Boles Adkins, age 80 of Danville, Virginia passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Adkins was born February 9, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Mildred Anderson Boles and the late Early A. Boles, Sr. She was married to John Adkins, who survives at the residence.

Mrs. Adkins was a member of New Testament Baptist Church and was a beautician. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a dedicated friend to everyone who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is also survived by her sons, Robert Snow, Timothy Adkins, and Scottie Shawn Adkins; her daughter, Renee’ Echols; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Harley; and her sisters, Bonnie, Masie, Betty, Peggy, Sue, and Tiny.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Daisy Reynolds; and her brother, Early A. Boles, Jr.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service Chatham Chapel, 147 S. Main Street Chatham, Virginia with Pastor Jonathan White officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park in Chatham, Virginia.
