Mary Hodges Robertson

Mary Hodges Robertson, 80, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was born on May 22, 1945, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Marvin Jefferson Hodges and Mary Christine Hodges. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Eugene Robertson; brother, Bob Hodges; and sisters, Avis Davis and Phyllis Darrah.

Mary worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for many years previous to her retirement and attended Granbery Church, in Martinsville, Virginia.

Mary is survived by her son, Jeff Robertson and his wife, Wendy; grandson, Talen Robertson; brother, John Hodges (Melonie), Brother -in-law, Danny Robertson (Barbara), Mother-in-law, Mildred Robertson; nieces and nephews, Ted Hodges, Rebecca Wagoner, Donna Bryant, Janet Marie Barlow, and Junior Stratton, Jodi Plaster, and Tim Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Granbery Church, 200 Granbery Road, Martinsville, VA 24112, in Mary’s honor.

A Memorial Service for Talmadge Eugene Robertson and Mary Hodges Robertson, will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel.
