Charlie E. Morrison

Mr. Charlie Estridge Morrison, age 89 of Bassett, VA passed away on September 3, 2025.

Mr. Morrison was born on June 28, 1936 in Henry County, VA to John Fred Morrison and Ruth Lawson Morrison. In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by four sisters; Roxie Morrison, Betty Hester Pedigo, Polly Nichols and Velma Collier, two brothers; Clemmons Morrison and Raleigh Morrison. He worked many years for American Standard. He loved Nascar.

Mr. Morrison is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, Billy Shelton along with many other good friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
