Samuel David Quinn

Samuel David Quinn, 76, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia. He was born on January 9, 1949, to the late James Renick Quinn and Pauline Prillaman Quinn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Pamela Quinn Chappell and Lila Quinn Hazelwood.

Samuel honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He went on to serve Franklin County as a County Administrator and later worked as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service.

He is survived by his brother, James L. Quinn; and special family, Kenneith D. Mason, Rhonda A. Mason, Ryan and Savannah Mason, and Lauren & Todd Thornton.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Tony Beach officiating.
