Robert Lee Norcross

Robert Lee Norcross 84, of Fluvanna County, passed away September 8, 2025. He was born May 2, 1941, in Fluvanna County to James and Agnes Norcross. Robert worked for Mobility Inc. in Richmond for years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors he loved to hunt and was part of the Hell’s Bend Hunting Club; he also enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Robert was full of life; he enjoyed talking to friends and people telling jokes. Robert loved animals and loved all his pets he had in his life. Robert was preceded in death by his father James and mother Agnes Norcross, wife Edith Elizabeth Norcross, brothers and sisters; Dorothy Norcross Bailey, Jeanette Willis, Edward Norcross, William Franklin Norcross and Richard Wayne Norcross, and one son Rodney Nathan. Robert is survived by his children, daughter Candice and husband Chad Poseno of Bluefield VA, and son Robert Norcross Jr. of Maryland. He is also survived by his stepchildren, many nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Cunningham Methodist Church, 3389 Thomas Jefferson Parkway Palmyra, VA 22963 on October 18, 2025, at 12pm.
