William "Billy" R. Myers

William Randolph “Billy” Myers, 80, husband of Norma Jean Hatcher Myers, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was the son of the late Elgin and Frances Marie Holden Myers.

Billy was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired home improvement contractor. He enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns on tv, especially those with John Wayne in them.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Norma Jean Hatcher Myers, he will be missed and remembered by his children, William Randolph “Randy” Myers, Jr. (Gina), Tina Marie Latempa (Brian), and Betty Jean Myers; grandchildren, Courtney Latempa, Briana Latempa, Kenneth Myers “KB” (Evelyn), Phillip Myers, Autumn Myers, and Justin Angle (Amber); great-grandchildren, Jayden Latempa, Brian Latempa, Rowan Myers, Hayden Myers, Makenzie Muse, Christopher Lewis, and Addalyn Angle; a brother, Walter Ray Myers; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be private.
