Glenn "Hollywood" Stephen Holland

Glenn “Hollywood” Stephen Holland, 75, of Martinsville, Va. passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Salem VA Hospital. He was born December 29, 1949, in Roanoke, Va, to John Thomas Holland and Dora Bertha Willard Holland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, Richard A. Holland.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Hedrick Holland of the home; daughter, Courtney Blaine Holland and son, Jason Bradley Holland; granddaughters, Dora Grace Holland and Taylor Rose Holland of Ridgeway, Va.; and sister-in-law, Sandra Holley of Ridgeway.

Hollywood was of the Christian Faith and attended Hill Memorial Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He loved the game of golf and billiards.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 5, 2025, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor Danny Brim.
