Misty-Lynn Holland

Misty-Lynn Holland, 45, of Stoneville, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born December 14, 1979, to Mary “Wanda” Hall Holland and the late Steven G. Holland.

All who knew her recognized that Misty-Lynn was fiercely protective of her family and loyal to her friends. Her larger-than-life personality brought joy and laughter to so many people. With determination and strength, she carried out the responsibilities of her job as a former home health aide, beautifully balancing it with being a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. It was part of her nature to care for and help others anytime she was able to do so; she leaves behind many who were touched by her acts of kindness and generosity. Misty-Lynn has left an indelible imprint on the hearts of her family who loved her so dearly. Her children are the recipients of her legacy of love and will carry with them the beautiful memories they made with her.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Mora Aguilar, Sr.; sons, Steven W.M. Holland, Malachi S. Holland, Jose “Luis” Mora Aguilar, Jr.; mother, Mary “Wanda” Hall Holland (Billy); sisters, Sabrina Jumper (Tony), Tabatha Mills; nieces, Makayla Stanley (Josh), Ayla Mills; nephews, Jadakiss Jumper (Ana), Evan Estrada, Troy Mills; great nephew, Leo Stanley; and numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
