Shirley Lee Trent Manning, 85, of Salem went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2025.
A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Roy Lee Manning, and the daughter of Houston and Alma Trent, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Ray Manning; sister, Nancy King; and brothers, Charles Trent and Robert Trent. Shirley was of the Christian faith and she enjoyed doing puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Gerald Manning, Chester Samuel Manning and wife Mary, and James Wayne Manning; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Clark.
A graveside service will be held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
