Nancy Odum McGee
Mrs. Nancy Odum McGee, age 67, of Pinnacle, passed away at her daughter’s home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Mrs. McGee was born in Forsyth County, on October 12, 1957, to the late Ethel Corine McCraw Odum and the late Roy Joseph Odum. She was a long-time business owner, of K&M Septic Tanks and Grading. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sibling, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish Mrs. McGee’s memories is her daughter and son-in-law, Misty Wright and Rusty; son and daughter-in-law, Winky McGee and Janice; grandchildren and their spouses, Sadie Hudspeth and Chris, Blake Weddle and Maegan, McKenzie Wright and Landon Wright, Kaylynn Pivaral and Victor; great grandchildren, Lucas Hudspeth, Caroline Weddle, Maci Weddle, Brianna Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Midkiff, Janet Church and Charles, Diane Woods, Sandy Kopack; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ervin Odum and Frankie, Button Odum, Bobby Odum and Della. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mcgee was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Tate; brother, James Odum. A celebration of Mrs. McGee’s life will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the Pastor Ryan Whitt officiating. Burial will follow at Hills Grove Baptist Church in Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, for the care and compassion shown to mom during her sickness. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the McGee family.
