Durham Lloyd Hardison V

Durham Lloyd Hardison V, 84, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Durham was born in Danville, VA on October 9, 1940 to the late Mary Bell Pierce Hardison and the late Durham Loyd Hardison IV. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Carolyn Owen Hardison.

Durham was of the Baptist Faith. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years in Maintenance at Owens Brockway previous to his retirement.

Durham is survived by a son; Jody Hardison and daughter in law Theresa; three grandchildren; Catherine Gammon (Jonathan), Mary Hardison, and Josh Lunceford; a great grandchild; Madison Gammon; a brother; Malcolm Theodore Hardison; and a sister; Jean Karen Hardison Wheeler.

In addition to his parents and wife, Durham was predeceased by a brother; George Pierce Hardison and a sister; Joyce Soyars.
