Sarah Elizabeth Barnhart Reynolds

Sarah Elizabeth Barnhart Reynolds, age 35 of Danville, Virginia passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Sarah was born May 22, 1990 to Amanda Shuman Barnhart and the late Glenn Steele Barnhart, Jr. She was married to Lawrence Russell Reynolds.

Sarah was very creative, enjoyed reading, coloring, painting, watching Anime and playing video games. She was active in the Girl Scouts for 12 years, enjoyed being on the farm growing up with her grandparents, and published several short stories. As was her daddy, she was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her beloved son, Alexander Reynolds; her step-dad, Danny Martin; mother and father-in-law, Tony and Debbie Reynolds; sister-in-law and her husband, Denise and Ryan Haymore; her grandfather, Lindy Harold Shuman; her uncles, Marty Shuman and wife Lori and Michael Shuman and wife Kathy; and her beloved pet, “Tobi”.

In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her grandmother, Carol Shuman.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Reynolds will be held at a later date.
