Clarence Walter Tyree
Clarence Walter Tyree preferred to be called Walter was born in Virginia July 20th 1950 and passed on October 3rd 2025 living to be 75 years of age.
Walter was born to his late parents Clarence Nicholas Tyree and Georgiana Goin Tyree. He joins his parents and his late brother Douglas Tyree, his son Jason Lynwood Tyree, his brother-in-law, Russell McFadden, and several friends and family members in passing.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Hostetter Tyree and sons Bobby Lee Tyree, Nicholas Estin Tyree, and Cody Elijah (Cody’s Girlfriend Chrissy Scruggs is thanked for providing care to Walter at times as a member of the family). The family also would like to acknowledge and thank the mother of his grandchildren, Phileshia Thompson, whom showed Walter great love. He is also survived by his sister Pauline McFadden and his sister in-law Anne Tyree wife of his late brother Douglas Tyree. He also leaves behind his cherished friend, Marshall Branham.
Walter loved his grandchildren and they brought him great joy including trips to get lots of ice-cream. He shares his love in passing still to his grandchildren; His granddaughter Marissa Blankenship, granddaughter Izzabella Tyree, granddaughter Layla Anne Tyree, granddaughter Sofia Tyree, grandson Everett Tyree, and his other grandchildren and family and friends.
He worked as a Metal Fabricator in Steel working and provided for his family. Walter did not shy from responsibility in his life and took on many roles which he enjoyed. He played softball on a team the ‘Neon Gnats’ and coached several different sport teams including coaching his sons when possible. He was a fan of the 49ers football team and allowed his sons to choose their own teams and didn’t penalize them harshly for their choices.
He cultivated his farm land and cattle and made the land his home for him and his family in Gladstone, Virginia.
He will be cremated and would like be honored as he lived: Simple, Strong, and True.
