Rebeccah Susan Murchie Tanner

Rebeccah Susan Murchie Tanner, 44, of Appomattox, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of Larry Wayne Tanner for 15 years.
Born in Lincoln City, OR., on October 9, 1980, she was the daughter of Phillip Andrew Murchie and his wife, Elaine, and the late Mary Elizabeth Cameron Lindsey.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by three children, Corey Standish, Jessicah Standish, Jacob Standish; three grandchildren, Isiah, Bennett, and Parker; three siblings, Teresa S. Pursel and husband, Scott, Andrew Murchie, and Joyce Taylor and husband, Wilbur; her step-father, William Lindsey; father-in-law, Hobert Tanner and wife, Robin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Stark.
A funeral will be held at 11 am, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Robinson Funeral Home.
