Eva Pearle Lewis

Eva Pearle Lewis age 94 of Boones Mill went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2025.She attended Little Mountain School in South Carolina and graduated from Newberry High School. After graduation she went to work with Southern Bell retiring after 32 plus years of service. The lives of her family and friends were enriched through her love of gardening and acrylic painting.She was born on February 26, 1931 a daughter of the late Jonas Pickens Rister and Minnie Ada Lindler Rister. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burton William Lewis, Sr.She is survived by her children, Marie Shattuck (Rick), Diane Lewis and Burton Lewis, Jr. (Katey); her grandchildren, Rachael Shattuck, Trenton Shattuck, Michael Myers (Taylor) and Matthew Myers; her great-grandchildren, Roman, Tessa, Wrenley and Miley; many nephews, nieces and cousins.Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in the Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, SC.Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 with assistance by Newberry Funeral Home in Newberry, SC.
