Virgil Glenn Lowe, Sr.

Virgil Glenn Lowe, Sr., 90, of Appomattox, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Annette Emert Lowe.
Born at Jewell Ridge, Tazewell County, VA on March 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Arvil Lowe and Loma Vance Lowe. Virgil was a faithful member of Bread of Life Fellowship, Dillwyn, VA. He was a retired office clerk for Norfolk Southern Railroad and a former type sitter at Richmond Times Dispatch Newspaper.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Teresa Lynn L. Case of Richmond and Virgil G. Lowe, Jr. and wife Sandra of Powhatan; three grandchildren, Victoria Gochez and husband, Jayson, Stephanie Wise and husband, Brian, and Melissa Stowers and husband, Dan; three great-grandchildren, Brian, Logan, and Amelia; three brothers, David Lowe and wife, Cathy, Bobby Lowe and wife, Charlotte all of Delaware, and Jerry Lowe of Kentucky; and sister-in-law, Judy Lowe of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Vernon Lowe.
A memorial service will be held 12pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor F. Keith Grimsley officiating.
