Takimah "Mecca" Brown Eason Allen
Oh how glorious heaven must be with yet another one of God's own beautiful angels, Takimah “Mecca” Brown Eason Allen was born on April 24, 1991, in Newark, New Jersey, to Alfred Brown and the late Gayle Perry. In 1995, she was fostered by Vanessa Eason, who later adopted her in 2023. On March 7, 2024, Mecca met the love of her life, Joshua Allen, and the two were united in marriage on March 15, 2025. Mecca spent her early years in Newark, NJ, before moving to Lakewood, NJ in 1996 2007 to 2008 she was in the R.O.T.C.. Later, in 2009, she relocated to Christiansburg, Virginia, where she graduated from High School in 2010 She continued her education at Radford University, and participated in Project Search. Shortly after, she began her career at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, where she dedicated 13 years of service as an Environmental Service Technician. Mecca was the sweetest, most loving, and extraordinary person to walk this earth. Her radiant smile and warm hugs could brighten anyone’s day. She had a special gift for making others feel loved and valued, especially the children in her family whom she adored deeply. Her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Josh Allen; her foster mother, Vanessa Eason; her father, Alfred Brown; siblings, Jeanette Eason, Tharon Perry, Dannielle Perry, and Kamilah Brown; nieces and nephews, Quamell Jackson, Ishmell Jackson, Saniyah Nelson, Trinity Moyer, and Christian Perry; mother-in-law, Lorrie Love; father-in-law, Don Allen; brother-in-law Darrell Allen; foster siblings, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. We who were humbled to know Mecca’s love, light, and laughter are forever changed. She lives on. Mecca's family would like to express their deepest appreciation for all the prayers, calls, visits, and acts of kindness shown during this time of loss. Your love and support mean more than words can express. A Celebration of Life will be held at Scattergood Church in Christianburg on Saturday, November 8th at 11am.
