Jonathan Thomas Lund

JONATHAN THOMAS LUND, 53 of Bland, VA, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at his home. He was born January 2, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Harry Thomas, Jr. & Elaine Marie Stout Lund.

Jonathan was a music lover who played bass guitar for most of his life. He enjoyed classic rock, live music, squirrels, square back Volkswagens and RV camping with his friends at various NASCAR races. 

Jonathan was charitable, generous and hard-working. He was especially proud to donate to the Romper Room Rescue & Sanctuary in SW Kentucky.  His generosity will continue to  support several special charities. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Marie Stout Lund. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Diane Lund (4E+1), his beloved cats; his father, Harry Thomas Lund, Jr.; his sisters & brothers-in-law, Melissa Savoy & William Myers and Karen & Brad Kurdziel; his beloved Martinsville Family, extended family and friends.

Per his wishes, Jonathan will be cremated. A celebration of life service may be held at a later date.
