Robert Lee Simpkins

Robert Lee Simpkins, age 85, of Christiansburg, died Monday, November 3, 2025, at his home. He was born in Floyd, VA on February 27, 1940, to the late Jack and Roxie Simpkins. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robbie James Simpkins, four brothers, and a sister. He attended Faith Tabernacle in Blacksburg. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice E. Simpkins; children, Lisa Kutz (Amos), Timothy Simpkins (Tammy), Karen Martin (Eric); five grandchildren, Nathan, Kayla, Serena, Kristina, Noah; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Opie Cox, and Ann Turpin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Sam Jones. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ron Graham and everyone at G & H Appliance whom Robert worked with for over 40 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shawn Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery in Indian Valley, VA. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until noon prior to the service.
