Ernest Ray Kessler

Ernest Ray Kessler, 87, widower of Patricia “Pat” Kessler, to whom he was married for 65 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025. He was the son of the late Ernest Eugene Kessler and the late Nancy Caldwell Kessler.

Ernest was a long-time member of North Roanoke Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent his career as a food broker for the grocery industry.

His memory will live on in his son, David Kessler (Terri); daughter, Kimberly Cunningham (Todd); step-grandchildren, Joshua (Natalie) Cunningham, Caden Cunningham, and Conlyn Cunningham.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 in the Chapel of Light at Evergreen Burial Park with Rev. Daniel Palmer officiating. The family will speak to guests following the service at the cemetery.
