Celebrating a Life Full of Laughter
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who departed this life on November 10, 2025. Bobby was born in Danville VA. on January 30, 1946.
Bobby was truly one of a kind—hardworking, fun-loving, and the kind of person who could make your belly ache from laughter. We were lucky to have him in our lives. One time, as we walked back from the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach, he threw his brand-new shoes away, saying, "Anything that hurts my feet this badly is trash." He then walked the rest of the way barefoot. This is just one of many stories we could tell of Bobby’s antics!
Bobby brought warmth, humor, and kindness to every gathering. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with him, holding close all the laughter and love he gave so freely.
Bobby was a trucker by trade working many years for H & R Motors and later for Fleming Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Manley Clark, his parents Aubrey A. Clark and Irma Adkins Clark and his siblings Glenda Jo Clark and Charles F Clarke.
Bobby is survived by his children Christy Clark, Deannea Clark Dameron, Sherri Robbins, Rebecca Hawker, Christy Beard, Josh Hutson and Angus Wilson and his grandchildren A.J., Sabrena and Noah. Bobby is also survived by his brother Bill & his wife Joyce and sister-in-law Ann Clarke and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to his son Josh for being Bobby’s caretaker for the past 2 years and to the MSA Hospice Nurses and staff.
A small celebration of life will be held at Norris Funeral Home on Saturday November 22nd with visitation at 2:00 p.m. and a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. The family ask that instead of flowers that charitable donations be made in memory of Bobby’s life to the Brosville Fire & Rescue, 11912 Martinsville Highway Danville, Virginia 24541.
Rest in peace Bobby. We love you.
