Levon Lloyd Shepherd

Levon Lloyd Shepherd, Sr., age 88, of Pulaski died, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on August 29, 1937, to the late Bud Anderson and Rosa Belle Young Shepherd. He is also preceded in death by his wife Gloria Annette O’Dell Shepherd and Sandra Simerly Shepherd as well as ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Hall (Fiancé Charles Farlow) and Robin S. Foster; Sons and daughters-in-law, Levon Lloyd, Jr., David G. Shepherd (Nancy), Eric N. Shepherd (Melissa), and Matthew J. Shepherd (Samantha); sister, Barbara Shepherd Ratliff; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2:30 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont cemetery in Shawsville. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm, prior to the service on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
