Robert Kenneth Hodge

Robert Kenneth Hodge, known to all as Ken, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 72. Born to Robert and Nellie Hodge, Ken lived a life rich in adventure and friendship. He is survived by his two sons, Matthew Hodge and Joshua Hodge, from his former marriage to Sarah Will Cook. Ken was a dedicated father and grandfather, "Gramps" to his grandchildren: Matthew’s six children—Benjamin, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Annabelle, Sarah, and Joey—and Joshua’s three daughters, Laila, Grace, and Harper. He is also mourned by his sister, Karen Hodge. niece, Michelle McLaughlin, and preceded in death by his beloved dog, Dottie. Throughout his life, Ken was a passionate world traveler, always eager to explore and build friendships along the way. He spent his recent years at peace enjoying his espresso in the Blue Ridge Mountain river life. In accordance with Ken's wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, the family encourages everyone to remember him fondly and to live each day as if it were their last.
