Frances Wright Mattox

Frances Wright Mattox, 77, of Roanoke, passed away, Monday, November 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Mary Wright; siblings, Betty Atkins, Curtis “Man” Wright and wife Elaine Wright; grandchild Jessica Mattox.

Frances is survived by her children Tammy Mattox, Paul Mattox, Cliff Mattox, Kathy Andrews (James), Michael Mattox (Natacha), Michelle Mattox, Lloyd “Punkin” Mattox (Brandie); grandchildren, Ronnie, Marcus, Latonya, Chasity, Ashley, Cornez, Todd Sabien, BJ, Terrell, Alexsis, and Caleb; as well as 39 great-grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Brooks, Bernice Wright (Jerome Woody), Aleice Jones (Jerome Jones), Guy Wright, Janice “Elaine” Wright
