Evelyn Rebecca Montgomery-Parker

Mrs. Evelyn Montgomery-Parker, age 61, of Claudville, Virginia, passed away peacefully from cancer at her home, Monday evening, November 24, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Surry County, February 17, 1964, to Haywood and Maxine King. Evelyn was strong in will, steadfast in love, and cherished by many. Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Haywood and Maxine King; husband, Sandy Parker; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Stephanie Montgomery; step-children, Shane and Kelly Parker, Jessica Parker and Blake, and Sara Parker; grandchildren, Azel, Ellie, and Madeline; step-grandchildren, Lilith, Nova, Mia Jane, Zackariah, Zayden, Kannon, and Harleigh; brothers, Larry King, Brad King, Richard King, and David King; very special friends and family, Patrick and Anita Hunter, Bev Montgomery, and Shelley King Jackson. A celebration of Evelyns’ life will be held at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church, Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Montgomery family.
