Carolyn Cason Davis

Carolyn Cason Davis, 82, of Appomattox passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Farmville, on March 31, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Cason and Mabel S. W. Cason. She worked at Thomasville Furniture for 37 years. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Ferrum College. Her passion was gardening and being outdoors in any capacity. Carolyn took pride in her blue-ribbon winning flower arrangements at the Five County Fair. She was a devoted member of the Appomattox County Historical Society and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Carolyn was active in 4-H by judging and teaching public speaking.
She is survived by her son Gregory T. Davis and wife, Deanna; granddaughter, Elizabeth V. Davis; sister, Francis Rickman; and two beloved cats, Boo and Jeb.
A graveside service will be held 1pm, Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, VA with Pastor Todd Estes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home.
