Helen Ann Cassell

Helen Ann Cassell, 83, Fieldale, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025. She was born on January 19, 1941, in Virginia, to the late Hilliard Cassell and Jettie Cassell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son George Pierre Greer.

Helen dedicated her life to caring for others, working many years as a nurse in the medical field. Her compassion, strength, and kindness touched countless lives both within her family and throughout the community.

She was a beloved mother of three sons: William Michael Gilley, Gaire Thomas Greer, and Kenneth Leon Cassell. Helen was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Helen will be remembered for her warm spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory.
