Helen Spiggle Booth

July 8, 1933 - November 29, 2025

Helen Spiggle Booth, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Forest Health and Rehab.

Born in Lynchburg, July 8, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Earl Spiggle and Minnie Viar Spiggle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Henry M. Booth and her sister, Mildred S. Deacon.

Helen was a lifelong member of Campbell Avenue Baptist Church.

Helen is survived by two sons, Jerry Booth and his wife Pam of Rustburg and Michael Booth and his wife Susan of Concord; five grandchildren, Daniel Booth and his wife Adrian, Jennifer Booth, Jessica Overstreet and husband Scott, Chris Booth and wife Amanda, Frances Wiley and husband Aaron and seven great grandchildren, Candice Ferguson, Taylor Overstreet, Mackenzie Overstreet, Ethan Overstreet, Presley Wiley, Addison Booth and Landon Booth. Helen is also survived by a special nephew, J.K. Deacon, special nieces, Judy Brooks and Pat Elder and a number of other nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the nurses of Forest Health and Rehab for their special care of "Grandma Helen" for the past two and one-half years.

A service celebrating her life and faith will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
