Michael Steven Weatherman

Mr. Michael Steven Weatherman, age 67, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1958 in Surry County to the late John Weatherman and the late Carolyn Blankenship Hamby. Mr. Weatherman was retired from L.S Starrett Company and proudly served our country in the United States Army. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Pat Weatherman, their grandson, Brandon Jones of the Home; son, Christopher (Heather) Martin; daughter, Ashley George; grandchildren, Anna (Kobe) Slate, Adam Martin, John Martin, Jack Martin, Brandon Jones, Daniel Easter, Ila Easter; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lynette (Jerry ) Roberts; nephews, Michael Roberts, John (Kelsey) Weatherman, Dereck Weatherman, Jacob McHone; niece, Crystal Haynes. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 3pm at Willow Hill Moravian Church Cemetery with service conducted by Rev. Sammy Lawson. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for their care and support as well as friends, Danny Judd, Diann Latta, Bruce Hall, and Jason Gwyn for their love and support.
