Daniel Boone Hall
Daniel Boone Hall, 94, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Born on November 15, 1931, in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Ernest Lynwood Hall and Virginia Hicks Hall.
Boone was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Lenora Gertrude Wolfe Hall, as well as his 12 siblings. He is survived by his three children, Leota Faye Hall, Lisa Renee Hall, and Daniel Todd Hall, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A proud veteran, Boone served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. Following his military service, he worked as a Pattern Maker at the Lynchburg Foundry, retiring after a dedicated career. Boone enjoyed a life deeply rooted in nature and hard work. He loved the outdoors, especially farming, and took great pride in growing Christmas trees. Above all, he cherished his children and treasured every moment spent with his family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor David Turner officiating. Military honors will be presented by American Legion Post 16.

Boone’s legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength will be forever cherished by all who knew him.
