James Allen Wilson

James Allen Wilson Jr., 78, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. James was born in Danville, VA on September 23, 1947 to the late Bernice Wyatt Wilson and the late James Allen Wilson Sr. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Lillie Mae Knick Wilson.

James was of the Christian Faith. He worked for 29 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, previous to his retirement. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.

James is survived by a sister, Belinda Wilson Calloway and her husband Thomas of Dry Fork, VA.

In addition to his parents, and loving wife, James was predeceased by a son, Mr. James Allen Wilson III.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Reverend Danny Wallace and Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. A Private Burial will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA at a later date.
