Daniel Gilford Bowers

Daniel Gilford Bowers, 85, of Pulaski, Virginia passed away on December 17, 2025, at his home. Daniel was born March 17th, 1940 in Radford, Virginia to the late Herman and Margaret McDaniel Bowers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Fern White (J.B.).

Daniel served our country in the United States AirForce and was retired from RAAP. Daniel was a jack of all trades and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to hunt, fish, golf and spend time at the beach.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Caroline Finn Bowers, children, Sebrena Muse (Kevin) Patsy Jones (Doug) Carolyn Hagar (Dan) Shannon LaRue (Ken) and Chris Finn. He is also survived by his Grandchildren, Ayden Finn (Courtney), Breanna Smith (Bret) Cousin, Yonna Graham, Special friends, Gary Smith, Matt Sale and his many friends at Thornspring Golf Course and at Walmart.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Chapel. Bower Funeral Chapel of Pulaski is serving the Bowers family.
