Virginia S. Christian

Virginia Stephenson Christian, age 96 passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Cardinal Senior Living in Danville, Virginia. Mrs. Christian was born November 5, 1929 to the late Myrta Warren Stephenson and the late Joseph M. Stephenson. She was married to the late John H. Christian.

Mrs. Christian attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and was a retired teacher’s aide. She was faithful to her church and valued singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a devoted wife.

She is survived by her two sons, John M. Christian and Timothy K. Christian both of Martinsville, Virginia; three grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her three sisters and one brother.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Mrs. Christian will be scheduled at a later date.
