Vergie Lee Myers Nichols, 95, of Advance, NC; formerly of Lynch Station, VA, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. She was born on Wednesday, December 24, 1930 to the late Ernest Myers & Cordie George Myers.
Vergie was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and she loved her Lord. Vergie loved singing hymns.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, William “Bill” Nichols (Joy) & several other family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Link officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
