Larry Clinton Mays

Larry Clinton Mays, Jr., age 58, of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, went to his heavenly home on January 13, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Mays was born on September 13, 1967, in Miami, Florida to the late Larry Clinton Mays, Sr. and Arleen Marmer Mays, who survives.

Mr. Mays enjoyed Harley Davidson’s and loved music. Larry also had a special pet named Kenda who he cared about deeply.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Mays is survived by his wife, Leigh Gillie Mays; daughter, Hayle Marie Mays; son, Shane Robert Mays, sister, Kim New; and grandchildren, Eli, Angel, and Amora.

A memorial service for Mr. Mays will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services – Mount Hermon Chapel with Pastor Timothy Barth officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
