Norma Ross Dressler
Norma Juanita Ross Dressler, age 83, of 11399 Douthat State Park Road, Millboro, Virginia died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence.
Norma was born on July 9, 1942 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Codie Ashby Ross, Sr. and Evelyn Irene Clark Ross. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of Lone Star Advent Christian Church. She loved to cook and can, and enjoyed crafting, but her favorite hobby was spoiling her grandchildren. She was also an avid birdwatcher, particularly of hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Preston Dressler; three sisters, Carol Wills, Jackie Franklin, and Sandy Chandler; two grandsons, Seth and Alex; and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by three sons, David Dressler (Charity), Timmy Dressler (Robin), and Paul Dressler (Kathy), all of Millboro; a sister, Nancy Ross Kilian (Gary) of Clifton Forge; a brother, Codie A. “C.A.” Ross, Jr. (Linda) of West Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Joshua Dressler, Rebecca Paxton, Mary Brown, Nathan Dressler, Tonya Keesee, Hope Dressler, Alantra Williams, Destiny Hurley, Austin Woodson, Miranda Smith, Ethan Miller, and Lilly Blankenship; nineteen great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Doug Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
